What should I do if the laser engraving machine does not emit light after installation?
All of our inspections or inspections have a major premise: the high and low voltage electrodes of the laser tube are completely wired and the wiring is in good contact. Next we analyze step by step:
First, check if the * spot can be shot at the frame.
Use the dimming paper to repeatedly paste the three layers, block the lens of the * frame, and then press the spot on the control panel (provided that the laser power switch is turned on, the potentiometer is turned clockwise to * (the 350 model device generally does not have a potentiometer)
A. If there is a laser-burning spot on the dimming paper, it can be determined that there is a problem with the optical path of the device. You need to adjust the optical path by referring to the tutorial on adjusting the optical path.
B. If there is no laser-burning spot on the dimming paper, but the inside of the laser tube is observed by a naked eye, in general, the laser tube is broken. (There is a special case where the installation direction of the laser tube is reversed, which can also cause this phenomenon to occur.)
Note: When installing the laser tube, remember that the nearest end of the * frame is the low voltage end.
C. If there is no spot on the dimming paper, no beam will be generated inside the laser tube. Please refer to the second item below.
Second, if there is no beam generated in the laser tube, we should check: laser switch, potentiometer, ammeter.
1. First make sure the laser control switch is on.
2. The potentiometer rotates clockwise to *degree.
3. Observe the current meter indication.
If the ammeter pointer is indicated, in general we can conclude that the laser tube is broken.
If the ammeter pointer is not indicated, we continue to check:
A. Observe the power display on the control panel. If the power value is lower than 10%, adjust the minimum power to 50%, then repeat the observation of the ammeter indication, and whether there is laser light in the laser tube and the * frame.
B. If the power value on the control panel indicates no less than 50%, then there are two cases:
First, the laser power signal line on the main board and the terminal on the laser power supply may loose or fall off, causing the laser power supply to not receive the illuminating signal transmitted from the main board.
Second, the laser power supply is damaged.
It is difficult to judge. We need to check other inspection items that do not involve ammeters and potentiometers one by one, eliminate other causes, then press the spot on the control panel several times, then touch the laser tube with low voltage or ground wire. The high-voltage connector, if there is a spark, can be judged that the laser tube is damaged. If there is no spark, it can be judged that the laser power supply is damaged.
